A range of options
for students and staff

We have the capacity for 90 students sleeping in bunk bedded rooms, with accompanying visiting staff rooms near by; additionally a semi permanent campsite for 100+ students is available from May - September.

There is central heating in all rooms and fully carpeted throughout. Bottom sheets and pillow cases are provided for students; duvets etc are standard for visiting staff – on change over day we try to use the outside washing lines, saving on the use of tumble driers. No chemicals are used for cleaning products.  See our environmental section.

The Main House (Sleeps 28 + 4 Staff)

  • 3 Bunk bedded rooms Honeysuckle, Cherry and Beech.
  • These rooms vary in size Honeysuckle 12, Cherry 8 and Beech 8
  • All bedrooms are  on the first floor.
  • All outside doors have coded key pads.
  • Teacher / Accompanying staff flat is on the second floor directly above the Student rooms.  Divided into three bedrooms with a large sitting room and bathroom.
  • Duty instructor room on the same floor.

The Club House (Sleeps 50 + 5 Staff)

  • 9 bunk bedded rooms – over three levels – Chestnut, Hazel, Cedar, Pine, Walnut, Rowan, Holly, Ash and Larch.
  • These rooms vary in size Chestnut, Hazel (both en-suite) Pine, Cedar all sleep up to 6,
  • Holly, Ash, Larch (en-suite) all up to 6, Rowan and Walnut all sleep up to 4.
  • All outside doors have coded key pads.
  • Teacher / Accompanying staff rooms are on the same level as the majority of the rooms and are one twin (Oak), one single room (Birch) and twin (Poplar) there is also a separate sitting room with TV and tea / coffee facilities. All accompanying staff bedrooms are en-suite.

The Garden Cabin (Sleeps 12 + 2 Staff)

  • 3 bedrooms with 4 students per room.
  • Teachers bedroom – (can turn into a twin room).
  • All bedrooms have their own en-suite bathrooms.
  • All outside doors have coded key pads.

Campsite (Sleeps 100 + Staff)

  • Additionally our campsite can hold 100 people (summer months) in large tents with single “staff” tents.
  • All tents have flooring, camp beds, and staff tents have proper single beds & solar lighting.
  • Ample washing facilities (showers are heated from solar panels) are nearby with the loos flushed with rain water, additionally there’s the ‘no poo loo’ within the campsite field for after dark emergencies.
  • There is also the lambing barn with kettle and fridge, plus a campfire area with plentiful wood and the camp’s own football area.
  • Drying racks are set up near by with dedicated solar drying room.
