Outdoor Instructors - seasonal

Starting as soon as possible and from mid April onwards

We are looking for outstanding, enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring Instructors for our 2022 season.

Mill on the Brue is an award winning, family run Outdoor Activity Centre in Somerset with a strong environmental ethos.  The Centre provides residential/day courses with a focus on experiential learning and education.  Our Instructors work with the same group of children for the entirety of their visit, so there is plenty of opportunity to build relationships with the children and to see them evolve throughout their stay. We also regularly work with adult groups and during the summer have six weeks of Summer Camps for unaccompanied children who are here to have fun. These groups provide a refreshing change of pace during the season.

We want you to have a great experience with us and develop in your role therefore regular training opportunities are available and also support in gaining NGB awards. In house training/a signing off process is provided for the Instructor role.

Ideally you will have some previous experience of instructing, teaching or coaching and also the UKCC/BCU Paddlesport Instructor/Level 1 award. A current first aid certificate, bushcraft and high ropes experience/qualifications would also be desirable.

Mill on the Brue is based in a rural location with local facilities and social opportunities all within walking distance.
