1.  Instructors 2019

We are looking for more exceptional instructors to join the MoB team.

We will reward you for your loyalty and hard work with regular training opportunities and support in gaining NGB awards.

Ideally you will have some previous instructional, teaching or coaching experience. Our preference is that candidates have a UKCC British Canoeing Level 1 Coach award, although we may be able to recruit candidates working towards this award.

  • Closing date for applications: 27th March 2019
  • Interviews to take place Monday 1st April 2019.
  • Compulsory training week: Week commencing 8thApril
  • Start Date: Various dates in April and May

Contract: Temporary (until mid August with the potential to extend for the right candidates)

  • Training will be provided for the role.
  • Onsite accommodation available with WiFi and weekly cleaning.
  • Vibrant location with local facilities and social opportunities all within easy reach.

2.  Kitchen Porter Assistant

We are looking for casual staff to help in our dining room and kitchen on occasional evenings (approx 6pm - 8pm) March until October.

Ideally you will have some previous experience of domestic or kitchen work but we will provide on the job training.

3.  Group Leader (1st July to 17th August 2019)

We're on the look out for fun, caring  and enthusiastic staff to complete our team.

Group Leaders assist our Instructors on activities and care for the children on our Summer Camps.

This role is ideal for anyone looking to start working in the outdoor industry or someone looking for paid work experience.

4.WWOOF’s (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms)

WWOOF is a world wide exchange network where bed, board and practical experience are given in return for help on organic farms. WWOOF provides excellent opportunities for organic training, changing to a rural life, cultural exchange and being part of the organic movement. As part of our membership with WWOOF, we are offering WWOOF posts here at Mill on the Brue. In exchange for your help in working in our vegetable and flower gardens, we provide you with comfortable and warm accommodation with delicious meals, full board and a variety of practical experiences. Stays of varied length are possible.

You can experience cultural exchange, eco-friendly gardening and being part of our environmental movement as well as social interaction with other young members of staff who also live on-site. If you are interested in a fun and rewarding time please get in touch for more details.
