Visits to MoB
Last week brought back plenty of memories. Firstly Dave and Katrina (Allin) Jackson who met 14 years ago, married, and were with their 10 month old baby Bodhi came back to see how Mill on the Brue was now and introduce Bodhi to the Centre. Bodhi particularly liked the lambs! Dave had been Senior Instructor in the early 2000’s and Katrina was in charge of programming and personnel.
Then on Sunday Mill on the Brue held a ‘ try the zip wire’ session and Becky Fishman who was one of the first children to come to Mill on the Brue in 1982 came down from
Oxford with her husband Chris and sons Sam and Tom. Becky hadn’t been back to the Centre since 1987 so she had never seen the Longhouse, Garden Cabin, the High Ropes,
Low Ropes, the tunnelling or the zip wires! It was lovely to see her after all these years – she hadn’t changed at all!
Finally James and Hannah (Worth) Hull dropped in with baby Joshua – he looks just like his Dad! All three were looking very well and enjoying the summer holidays as they
both work at a school near Bath. This was also another Mill on the Brue romance.
We’ve decided we want to make a montage of all the couples who met at MoB so if we haven’t caught everyone please send your photos in.
