N-ewes!

11th April, 2023

Our first lambs have arrived just in time for Easter. Twins to boot.

Lincoln Longwools have been grazing in our valley since 1985 and been delighting children and adults as they are such a friendly flock. The Lincoln is the largest British sheep, developed specifically to produce the heaviest, longest and most lustrous fleece of any breed in the world. It is now one of Britain’s rarer breeds, categorized as “at risk” by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust since there are fewer than 1500 registered breeding females in the United Kingdom.

Fingers crossed we get a few more.
