If you are looking for an exciting, challenging and most of all fun place for a child to be for the summer, then we have the perfect solution!

Since 1982 we have been running our week long summer adventure camps for unaccompanied children. Many of the children come back year after year, forming friendships that last for years. A week at Mill on the Brue's summer adventure camp gives everyone the opportunity to have an enormous amount of fun, learn new skills and make great friends.

Hi Matt and team,"A very quick email from my phone to thank you for taking such excellent care of our three kids this week. They are all buzzing, exhilarated, exhausted, filthy and very very happy.   This from one of my kids should serve as feedback for now. “I’m sad because for the first time in my life I felt like I could be exactly who I am and I don’t think I’ll ever feel like that again.” That’s pretty extraordinary.  I’m trying to tell her that Bruton is going to be a great town for her!"

“Thank you all for giving Tabby the most brilliant week – she had an amazing time, met some great kids by the sound of it. I was delighted by the amount of mud that she brought home…the perfect antidote to her usual busy life. Many thanks again, we’ll definitely be booking for next year.”

"The best money a parent can spend …. Thank you all….. B ( Serens mum and ex MOB kid..)"

"I first sent one of my children to Mill on the Brue a few days after her 8th birthday.  She knew no-one else going but had an amazing time.  She is still friends with one of the girls from her room that first year and also with a number of others who she met over the next few years.  They are now in their first year of university!  Mill on the Brue was genuinely always a highlight of her year and when she went through some tricky teenage years, was especially great.   She is coming to Mill on the Brue this summer to work as a helper.  My other two have also been to Mill on the Brue and were both desperate to be old enough to start going, having seen how wonderful it is and having heard all about it from their sister.  It is the last year for my middle one but my youngest still has a few years left.  My son was in a group with a few French-speakers last year and his new interest in French lessons at school has been an unexpected plus. I really think that Mill on the Brue is a great experience for anyone lucky enough to experience it.  The children have an amazing time and a real break from screens.  They are kept busy, spent lots of time outside and come back exhausted initially but also refreshed and having had a wonderful week. I genuinely can't recommend it highly enough!"
